In response to fluctuations in red meat prices, an important step has been taken by Tarım Kredi KOOP Market to ease the burden on Ramadan tables. Within this scope, Tarım Kredi 400-gram frozen minced meat, produced at Tarım Kredi’s own facilities, and 500-gram and 1-kilogram frozen minced meat products supplied through cooperation with the Meat and Milk Institution will be available to consumers at discounted and fixed prices at KOOP Market until the end of Ramadan.

With its frozen minced meat product, KOOP Market aims to strengthen its position in the retail sector. Frozen meat products, widely preferred in European Union countries, stand out for being healthy, practical, and having a long shelf life. In daily life, storing fresh meat by freezing it after using only the needed amount also shows that this method is natural and safe. The frozen minced meat offered at KOOP Market is produced in the high-hygiene, high-quality facilities of the Meat and Milk Institution. Delivered to consumers through a protected cold chain, these products provide an important alternative in terms of food safety and sustainability.

The products, which will be offered to consumers at affordable prices, will be available in all KOOP Markets across Türkiye starting Saturday, February 14. Tarım Kredi 400-gram frozen minced meat, produced at Tarım Kredi’s own facilities, will be sold for 194 TL, while ESK 1-kilogram frozen minced meat, supplied through cooperation with the Meat and Milk Institution, will be offered to consumers throughout Ramadan at a fixed price of 485 TL.

Making statements on the matter, KOOP Market General Manager Orhan Kozan emphasized that the cooperation between Tarım Kredi and ESK has a long-term and sustainable structure, stating: “We have taken an important step both with our own TK Meat products and with this cooperation we have implemented with ESK. We have completed all preparations to ensure uninterrupted access to these products for our consumers, and we will deliver shipments to our stores at least twice a week. This fixed-price frozen minced meat application, which we offer at the most affordable prices on the market, will continue throughout the year and will not be limited to Ramadan.”

THE COOPERATION CAME IN RESPONSE TO CONSUMER DEMAND

Stating that as KOOP Market they act with the principle of offering products to consumers under the most favorable conditions, Kozan said: “We decided to expand the sale of ESK frozen minced meat, which we had initially offered in a limited number of our stores, to all our branches after evaluating the strong demand from our consumers. These products are produced under high hygiene standards at ESK facilities in different provinces, and we deliver them to our consumers without breaking the cold chain. As a result of our efforts, we signed this cooperation agreement both to further expand this well-received practice and to provide consumers with healthy and reliable meat products.”

AVAILABLE IN ALL STORES WITH STRONG STOCKS

Kozan stated: “We are a retail chain serving across Türkiye. We have the distribution network and infrastructure to carry out such an important operation. We are developing, growing, and improving our service quality every day. We are pleased to implement this frozen minced meat initiative in all our stores with strong stock levels to ensure consumer satisfaction. Our consumers can safely purchase, use, and store the frozen minced meat product, which has a shelf life of one year.”

CAMPAIGNS WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT RAMADAN

Kozan noted that they are preparing campaigns not only for meat products but across all essential food categories during Ramadan. He emphasized that KOOP Market sources its products directly from farmers and processes them in modern meat, dairy, pulses, and oil factories within the Tarım Kredi structure, delivering them to consumers without intermediaries. Through this model, they aim to contribute both to the national economy and to household budgets, as well as to support the fight against inflation. He added that they continue to increase their sales points across Türkiye. Pointing out that Ramadan is a month of abundance, prosperity, and sharing, Kozan stated that they do not foresee any unexpected price increases in essential food products and that they will carry out numerous campaigns throughout Ramadan to support household budgets.
